Each "Retablo" tells a story, it represents the inhabitants of a community dancing to the rhythm of music performed by local musicians.
The "Retablo" consists of a rectangular wooden box whose doors are decorated with floral motifs. Inside the box, the scenes are composed of figurines made from pasta made from boiled and ground potatoes, mixed with plaster until the desired plasticity is obtained, once dried, they are colored.
Dimensions: 20 x 15 x 7 cm.
Made entirely by hand in the city of Ayacucho in Peru by artisans who have endured the local know-how for generations.
